So this last "Tiana Eats Taiwan" post is dedicated to those foods/snacks/drinks I forgot to mention in earlier posts! Let's get right to it.
I could never do a "Tiana Eats Taiwan" without a post discussing night markets. Among tourists visiting Taiwan, one of the bucket-list must do activities is visiting a Taiwanese night market. Night markets are unique to Taiwan and always a fun and delicious experience. They're well-known world wide. In fact, every summer, New York hosts a makeshift Taiwanese night market at Union Square - except it is hosted in the day time. In Flushing, Queens there is also a night market held every weekend during the summer. Apparently it is quite popular too. When I visited Taiwan this time around I had the chance to visit two of Taiwan's most famous (and touristy) night markets.
My first destination in Taiwan was Taipei. Similarly to Tokyo, Taipei is a metropolis that offers a variety of delicious (and cute) restaurants and cafes. The kind of restaurant and cafes you would probably only find in Asia. This year I only spent two days in Taipei, but here is a list of the restaurants and cafes I had the chance to visit!
My love of eating is a well known fact and Taiwan is one of my favorite food destinations. So, as soon as my family booked our tickets for Taiwan, my mom and I decided that we needed to plan out a weekly work out regiment -- in preparation for the copious pounds we would inevitably gain.
